Improving Coverage in London

In 2010 Switchdigital (London), owner of the London II multiplex, agreed with the BBC to move its Otford transmitter to a new site at Wrotham.  The new transmitter at Wrotham went live on Friday 19th November 2010 and is expected to enhance the indoor and outdoor coverage of the London II multiplex by 147,000 and 136,000 households , respectively.   Following this move, London II maintains its position as the multiplex with the best indoor coverage in the Greater London area.
