In September 2007, MuxCo Wrexham & Chester (in which UTV is a 25% shareholder), was awarded the DAB Digital Radio licence to cover North East Wales and West Cheshire.  This multiplex will provide local DAB services to over 1m adults living in Liverpool, Cheshire and North Wales.
